If you’ve entered the market for a cat condo, then you’re probably finding that the search is not as easy as it seems. Well, sit tight, because this article is for you. I put together a review of three of the best Cat Condos on the market and my aim is to make your choice easier. So without further ado, let’s get started.

What is it?

What exactly is this towering structure that has the ability to keep your cat occupied, while you are otherwise busy doing something else. Well, it’s basically a structure of many shapes and sizes used to serve your kitties needs. One of those needs, is feeling like their king of the castle. In a lot of ways, they are…if the cats not happy, nobody’s happy. So, why not give your kitty something that can give them a since of security, where they, and they alone can observe their kingdom from above. Cat’s love to be in enclosed, high places(Remember That). That combined with an athletic structure, with material for them to scratch, makes this one of the best gifts you can give your cat. Just make sure it’s very sturdy or you might have a pretty ugly accident on your hands.

So let’s get into the different types of condos.

Cats’s love this one. It’s a beige, athletic structure with four levels. It has a scratching post(Which is pretty standard along with the carpeting), a rope to climb and several places to nest in. One favorite place to chill is the basket that sits on the left side(Cat’s just love to be cradled). The hammock(1st level) and the hideout spot(2nd level), might be only big enough for a kitten, full size cats will most likely ascend to the upper levels. However, It is sturdy enough to hold 3 fully grown cats at once without tipping over. As for assembly, it only takes about 20-30 minutes to put together and once it’s up, let the games begin. Because if your cat is out of shape, then the cat tree is just what it needs.  The cat tree is designed for your cat to continually go up and down, giving your cat plenty of exercise. Every owner should want their cat to stay fit and healthy; Well, the cat tree is a step in the right direction.

In short, although the hammock isn’t very practical, I would say go for it. It’s a cat condo more suited for smaller cats, but it can handle big cats as well(Up to 12lbs.); making this a strong and sturdy choice.

Dimensions: 38W X 27L X 62H Inches

So you might look at this narrow structure and say to yourself that it can’t be sturdy…Well, you’d be wrong. In spite of this cat condo being over 6 feet tall, this bad boy can hold up to 50 pounds of weight with out tipping over. Easy to put together, this will be your cat’s new go to for exercise and stimulation. Again, this is one of those cat condos where the smaller cat might get the most out of this situation, but it’s still able to hold most adult cats. This cream 4 leveler has a hammock at the first level, a grey cozy bell shaped hideaway on the second level and a fun little toy and obstacle placed on the upper levels. Although the perch is pretty high, it can support a fully grown cat. It takes about 30 minutes to put together and it comes nicely packaged with all the parts perfectly labeled for easy assembly.

Key Points:

  • Although it is very tall, it’s sturdy and comes highly recommended by cat customers on amazon
  • The perches are nicely sized(This Model Being 14×14)
  • The cream goes well with mostly any décor
  • It has scratching posts all over, is well carpeted, has great nesting areas and is easy to assemble

All of these points and features make for a very cozy experience for your kitty and an easy, hassle free experience for you.

Dimensions: 22.1L X 22.1W X 47.9H inches

This Cat Condo Design is a little more modern and quite beautiful. If you have décor that is of a dark wood like quality and has a contemporary look, then this cat tree might be for you. To start off, for color, you can pick either mahogany or expresso. It’s a very slick design, where the creators boast of its minimalist, zen like qualities. In fact, it was designed to look like a Lotus flower. It’s easy to put it together, but may take slightly longer than other cat trees. Where as it would take about 30 minutes to put together most cat trees, it takes about 1 hour to put this cat tree together. But boy is it worth it. In my opinion, this is one of the most gorgeous cat trees I’ve ever seen. But there’s more to it then just looks…Check it out.

The Features:

  • A hide-away-cubby
  • Brown Berber carpet held on with Velcro
  • A Sisal Pad for Scratching
  • Soft cushions with washable suede covers
  • It’s very sturdy and well made
  • …And most importantly, cats love it

So, I’m gonna give this cat condo a five out of five stars…for great design and functionality. It’s sturdy and it’ll look great in your home.
